OUR STORY

The Commons Chelsea is a family-owned neighborhood cafe serving high quality coffee using
La Colombe beans & our mother's pastries from Arlene's Bakery. We serve a variety of sandwiches, salads,
& toasts along with a focused beer & wine list. 

Our doors opened in the Fall of 2011, at the right place & time for lifelong friends who are passionate about the
restaurant industry. The Commons is what we called our High School cafeteria, which was a place where we
could eat, spend time with friends, and feel free to be ourselves. Our goal is to combine that feeling with
our passions for food, design, and family and embody the feeling of community that these aspects represent.
